A simpler Harvest alternative
Harvest is a time tracker that also sends invoices. If you bought it for the invoicing, you are paying for the other nine tenths of it.
As of August 2026, Harvest Teams is $11 per seat per month, or $9 per seat billed annually — and since the Bending Spoons repricing there are usage fees on top. Invoices, projects, clients and tasks are metered, and the pricing page says only that extras are "billed based on what you use". One widely reported case had a single-seat customer's bill go from $12 a month to $1,900. Whatever sat behind that particular number, a bill you can't work out in advance is a different product from the one people signed up for.
Pmnts is $9 a month, or $90 a year. One price, published, no seats, nothing metered.

Be honest
When Harvest is the better choice
Three cases where switching to Pmnts would be a downgrade. If any of them is you, stay put — Harvest is the right tool.
You bill from tracked hours
Harvest exists to turn a running timer into a line item. If your invoices are assembled from hours logged by several people across several projects, that pipeline is the product — and Pmnts has no timer at all.
You need to watch a project budget burn down
Budget alerts, cost against billable rates, who spent what this week. Those are things a team lead uses every day. Pmnts has no concept of a project.
Your team lives in it
Timesheet approvals, per-person rates, receipts attached to a job. Per-seat pricing is irritating, but the seats are the point. Pmnts is single-user by design.

FAQ
Questions people ask before moving
Does Pmnts track time?
No. There's no timer, no timesheet, no project budget. If your invoice totals come out of tracked hours, keep Harvest — or track hours wherever you like and type the total into Pmnts as a line item.
Is $9 really the whole price?
Yes. $9 a month or $90 a year for Pro, as of August 2026 — no per-seat charge, no per-invoice fee, nothing metered. Card payments run through your own Stripe account at Stripe's rate, and Pmnts never takes a percentage. There's a free tier as well; the current limits are on the pricing page.
Can my team share a Pmnts account?
No. Pmnts is one account, one person. If you need shared access or per-person permissions, it isn't the right tool.
