Privacy Policy

What we collect

Your account: an email address and a password (stored only as a secure hash). Your business profile: the name, contact details, logo, and brand color you choose to add. Your invoicing data: the customers, line items, amounts, and notes you enter to create invoices, plus delivery records such as when an invoice was sent, viewed, or paid.

We don't collect more than the service needs, and we don't buy data about you from anyone.

How we use it

To run Pmnts: generating your invoices and PDFs, emailing them to your clients, sending reminders, processing payments, and showing you the status of it all. We also use your email address to send essential service messages — receipts, security notices, changes to these policies. We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising.

Where it lives

Your data is stored with Supabase, our database and authentication provider. Card payments are processed by Stripe, and invoice emails are delivered by Resend. Each of these processors receives only what it needs to do its job — Stripe sees payment details, Resend sees the emails being delivered — and each protects it under its own security practices and privacy policy.

Your clients' information

The names, email addresses, and billing details you record about your customers are entered by you and processed on your behalf, solely to create and deliver your invoices. We never contact your clients except to deliver the invoices and reminders you send, and we never use their details for anything else.

Cookies

Pmnts uses cookies only to keep you signed in. There are no third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data for as long as you have an account. Delete your account and your data goes with it, apart from what we're legally required to retain (such as billing records). To delete your account or request a copy of your data, email support@pmnts.app.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time — most of it directly in the app, and the rest by emailing us. If you're in a jurisdiction with specific privacy rights (such as the GDPR or CCPA), we'll honor requests made under them.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll tell you by email or in the app before the change takes effect.
